Born in Jackson, Mississippi USA, grew up in Flint, Michigan attending Northwestern High School graduating in 1981. Played college basketball at Boise State University on a full scholarship. 2 seasons in Europe in the Norwegian Basketball League before starting his long lustrous career in Australia that lasted 19 seasons, 17 of which were in the NBL (National Basketball League) with Eastside Spectres, Westside Saints, South East Melbourne Magic, Sydney Kings, and West Sydney Razorbacks.

Playing career highlights; NBL Leading Rebounder 1993, NBL Best Sixth Man 1996, Won NBL Championship in 1992 with South East Melbourne Magic, 1992 Grand Final MVP, trophy presented by former NBA Commissioner David Stern. No’ 32 Jersey retired by West Sydney Razorbacks.
